The Challenge
The previous site was content-heavy and difficult to navigate, making it hard for users to find relevant information. With multiple user groups ranging from businesses to policymakers, the challenge was to create a structure that served varied needs without overwhelming the experience. The site also needed a refreshed design to modernise the brand while maintaining its authoritative presence.
The Solution
Starting with a UX audit, I mapped out user journeys to identify pain points and opportunities. I introduced a clearer site structure with simplified navigation and filters to guide different user groups to their desired content. The UI design balanced functionality with a clean, professional aesthetic, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints. I worked closely with developers to bring this vision to life, maintaining clarity and responsiveness throughout.
The Result
The updated website provided a cleaner and more intuitive experience for Logistics UK’s diverse audience. User testing showed that 88% of participants were able to find relevant content without assistance, and there was a 40% increase in return visits within the first two months. The clearer navigation and content hierarchy significantly improved user satisfaction and accessibility.
